Team Dominica USA

Year Team Dominica USA Established: 2000.

History: Team Dominica started in the Caribbean Cup in 2005.
Legendary Players or Managers: Gregory Lawrence –He played in the Central Brooklyn Soccer League for team Hairoun where he was a fan favorite.

Current Manager: Fidal Durand.
Technical Director: Curtis JNO Baptiste.
Coach: Argel Smith.
Executive: Team Captain – Pernell Etienne.
Squad and Positions: Goal Keeper- Bahir Etienne, Jeron Emanuel.
Defenders: Orpheus JNO Baptiste, Bryan Lookart, Shaguill Emanuel, Vandy Teur, Smert Skerrit.
Midfielders:Pernell Etiene, Curtis JNO Baptiste, Damien John, Nira George, Chris St. Jean.

Strikers: Ashwell Prince, Eldin Scotland, Akim George.

Comments of Season’s: Team Dominica USA is now looking ahead to improve on what was started last year by going to the play-off for the very first time, a mile stone and a signal of what yet to come. This season we are coming with youth and experience and should be a lot better than where we left off last season

Team St Kitts & Nevis USA

Year Team St. Kitts & Nevis USA Established: 1980.

History: Team St Kitts Graduates Soccer club Began in the summer of 1980 with group of nationals who migrated to New York and just could not give up the game. We had to find a way to play the game we love and create an avenue to keep our people together. The Graduates has been responsible for team St.Kitts / Nevis since the inception of the Caribbean Cup.

Executive: President/Manager Pelham Warner,

Vice President and Coach: Larry John,

Treasurer: Alfred Rawlins and Secretary Pat Richards.

Coaching staff: Larry John, Trevor Payne Pelham Warner and a senior player with some coaching experience or one who aspires to become a coach.

Over the years we have showcased the likes of Keith (Kayamba) Gumbs at present playing professionally in Asia, Elvis (Pepe) Isaac, Austin (Dico) Huggins current member of the national team coaching staff, Kennedy Byron, George (yellow man) Isaac one of the most respected players in the region and one of the most outstanding goalkeepers ever played in the Caribbean Cup Akil (Man-of-Wall) Byron to name a few.

St.Kitts is no different from the other teams involved in this year’s competition, we compete to win and that is our ultimate goal. As the smallest competing nation in this tournament, we have in the recent past exhibited one the youngest and most consistently competitive teams around and have always put an entertaining group of players on display. In 2012 we expect to do the same and try our utmost to win it all.

You can look forward to see our core players like Linsworth (Wukit) francis, Julian (Woney) Bradshaw, Waynie Wattley, our last year’s rookie Shaquelle Francis and again we will feature some of our young national players

Team Panama USA

Year Established: Team Panama USA May of 2011.

Brief History: With a vision and complete determination to participate in the premier soccer league in Brooklyn, we embarked on a bold mission. In this journey, we had two exhibition matches arranged that the team had to overcome. The first match was against St. Vincent, with the result 1-0 in favor of Panama. The second match was against St. Lucia that ended in a draw 1-1.  The results from these matches extended the recognition and welcomed Panama into the Caribbean Cup.

Season’s expectation: we are grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Caribbean Cup, Inc. Our goals for this season are to transcend all expectations and to win the Caribbean Cup Inc., championship.

Team Antigua & Barbuda USA

Year Established: Team Antigua and Barbuda USA was established in the early Nineteen Nineties. The team was put together from four Antiguan teams: The Antigua Cavaliers, Waddadli, The Bronx Warriors, and South Stars, all were located in the Bronx and played in the Eastern District Soccer League.

Brief History: Though the team has reach the playoffs numerous times, they have manage to advance to the semi final only twice, and are yet to play in the finals for the Cup. Antigua has a history of starting strong, but tends to loose it during the end. We believe, that our Carnival season which is in the middle of the playoff times, enable us to field our best players during the crucial time of the tournament; That’s when the players return home.

Antigua have added to its coaching staff, one of the world most prolific scorer in world cup history, former CCI player and former national coach and player of Antigua & Barbuda, Mr. Derrick Edwards. Derrick held the scoring per game world cup record for quite some time. Strategically based in Antigua, he voluntarily scout and select players for us. He will join the team this season to emphasize our commitment to our goal. Derrick is the current winning coach for Antigua Premier Division 2011/2012 Season.

Season’s expectation: With the addition of Winning Coach Derrick and some new players, TABUSA is expected to make it, at least to the final four, not ruling out playing in the finals.

Team Guyana USA

Year Established: Team Guyana USA Soccer Inc. 1992

Brief History: Team Guyana USA Soccer Inc., a soccer team where its home base is located in New York State. The team was established in 1992 and is made up of a wide spectrum of soccer players. Players ranging from college graduates, current college attendees, high school players and a number of seasoned and accomplished former and current Guyana national players who reside in Guyana and the USA.

Season’s Expectation: Our present goal is to be 2012’s champions, unlike last year’s competition that ended unfavorably. Last year (2011) was our first year to win our division and no goals scored against us. We hope that we are given a fair and equal chance this year.
